NuPlay Rubber Chips	Rubberific Shredded Rubber Mulch

NuPlay is a durable groundcover made of 100 % recycled rubber.

Rubberific Mulch is a realistically textured rubber mulch, also made of 100 % recycled rubber, that looks virtually identical to wood mulch.

Advantages

• Moderate initial cost (shredded mulch is more expensive than chunks)
• Considered handicap accessible once compacted
• Subbase preparation required, but not critical
• Material is inorganic so it does not rot, decay, or breakdown over time
• Requires minimum replacement over the life of the product
• Available in a variety of colors
• Easy installation, can be done by volunteers
  

Disadvantages

• 4-6 times more expensive than engineered wood fiber
• Considered loose fill; must be raked back into position at high wear areas
  

Critical Fall Height

• NuPlay – 6" inch thick layer rated for a 13 foot fall height
• Rubberific Mulch – 6" inch thick layer rated for a 12 foot fall height
